California’s housing prices are pushing the American Dream further and further away from the middle class. As your State Senator, I will work to address the causes of these inflated housing costs and work with members of both parties to pass legislation to make the dream of affordable, attainable housing for California’s middle class a reality.
- Requested the expansion of the 6-month voucher program for renters at risk of losing their home due to unforeseen circumstances.
- Voted to reduce fees and regulations to motivate and speed up the production of housing like auxiliary units and downtown high rise incentives.
Supported bringing back first buyer loans, a program to help people with their down payment and share equities.
