About the Author
Johnny Khamis is the father of a 5 year old boy whose imagination and inquisitive nature have inspired Khamis to write about their conversations.
Costi is always asking about how things work and why things happen. He sits for hours inventing new toys (he calls contraptions) out of his Legos and tinker toys. The father and son often go on nature walks and are fascinated by why plants grow, why rain falls and what happens to the water afterwards.
